The Executive Director of Career & Professional Development is the lead visionary and external facing executive for a robust and emerging coordinated career network at the University of Redlands. The Executive Director will collaborate to bring growth, organization, and implementation of scaled career education, career opportunities, and career development initiatives that touch all stakeholders. Reporting to the Provost, as the chief ambassador for Career and Professional Development, the Executive Director will work with external constituents, in collaboration with deans and other University leaders, academic departments/faculty, student services colleagues, enrollment, and advancement to create innovative partnerships, signature programs, alumni connections, and opportunities that will serve students from their first year to their post-graduate careers.
Key priorities for the Executive Director include collaboratively creating and communicating a unique and re-imagined vision for career education at Redlands; implementing scaled career education solutions, which are integrated into the academic fabric of the institution, and that reach the diverse population of Redlands students; gathering and strategically communicating big data associated with career engagement, career outcomes, and career readiness of Redlands students and alumni; assisting in the fundraising efforts associated with the new vision for career education; and ensuring the intentional growth of connections between Redlands and the employment community.
