University of Redlands Study Abroad/Off-Campus Programs

Education abroad is an integral aspect of the undergraduate experience in the College of Arts and Sciences at Redlands, and the Office of Study Abroad has a rich tradition of broadening student growth and learning through participation in international and domestic programs. Our goal is to create opportunities for students and faculty at U of R to explore diverse cultures and languages en route to becoming more broad-minded, interculturally adept, and knowledgeable citizens of the global community.

Personal development, including greater resilience, result when individuals push their boundaries through engaging with distinct cultures through off-campus and overseas learning.

Semester Program
The Office of Study Abroad offers semester and yearlong opportunities where students enroll in programs around the world through our partnerships with education abroad organizations and universities or via our Salzburg Semester program, which is based at our U of R facility in Salzburg, Austria.

May Term Travel Program
During each May Term period, Redlands faculty lead off-campus CAS courses, both domestic and international, that typically spend 3 to 4 weeks at one or more study centers or field sites.
